Very disappointing. After a long time we went to the Biewald to eat again. Although we had stated in the reservation that we would like to sit outside, we were sent without further comment to the 'ballroom', a kind of gymnasium, in which (with the corresponding noise) several family celebrations were held. We had a cat table at the buffet, behind the buffet stood a cook and called to us, almost incomprehensible due to the noise level, what we would like. The waitress hung the mask permanently at half-mast (i.e. under the nose), he answered my question about a Trollinger with 'red or white'? Oh yes, there was also food, an appetizer that was hardly worth mentioning, then a piece of duck kept warm with dumplings and red cabbage, and then a glass bowl with a dollop of red fruit jelly (I guess: straight from the Dr. Oetker pack), all for an amazing 25 Euro. I understand that restaurants wg. Corona are in trouble, but you shouldn't skimp on the service and the quality of the food. We won't be visiting the place for a long time.

Unfortunately, there was no salad buffet - starters and food selection a little poor - the food could be arranged a little more lovingly, for example. B. small cream dots on the soup or some parsley garnish

The days have been there, and unfortunately we have to say that it didn't convince us! When you go to such a shop as a guest you want to be surprised in terms of taste and appearance! And even if it is the only one-star shop in the region, there are unfortunately kitchens like the Lion in Duderstadt or the Ben in Hezberg that are far more modern and taste better! This criticism is at a very high level, but those who advertise it should strive for more! So please attack again so that the region has more to offer! Hope to see you soon! Lg

A very nice place to stay. The rooms are very clean, very nicely decorated and large. The hosts are very courteous and tried hard. The boss immediately cleared parking spaces for our motorcycles. The breakfast rich, an extra breakfast plate for each guest, also fruit and salmon, great. The dinner menu is adequate, but the dishes are a little more expensive; but very tasty.

The dishes were phenomenally delicious, the service super friendly and courteous. We loved it.

We were registered for dinner last night and had opted for one for a 6 course meal. Everything was fine up to the 5th gear. The last passage was a long time coming. What came next was simply inedible. The lamb was completely raw. A missed enjoyment. The dessert was normal but not star-like. The wines, which were ordered as accompaniment, were rather mediocre except one For an evening that cost us over € 300, rather average. Guests who are willing to pay so much should be treated differently after a complaint, do not postpone anything until the next time. For the time being, there won't be any for us.

Super good breakfast, the cheese selection was delicious. In the evening the menu of the day eaten and slept well ... what more could you ask for?
